Camden is the perfect destination for a coastal Maine wedding. With its beautiful scenery, fantastic hotels, and great local food options, it's the perfect backdrop for your big day!
The Schooner Olad offers a unique, and intimate setting for couples to be married at sea! We offer Private Charters for weddings, starting at 2 hours, for up to 22 passengers on our vessel. You'll be married by a Captain or local Officiant at the edge of Camden Harbor with the backdrop of beautiful Curtis Island Lighthouse! Once the ceremony is complete, you'll set sail for your first adventure as newlyweds!
Our staff can arrange your wedding officiant (one of our captains is notarized!) and catering. We are happy to provide some local recommendations for florists and photographers.
Want the party to continue past 2 hours? Why not celebrate your big day with an Island Lobster Bake! Our crew can put on a lobster bake for your and your guests on a scenic island on the bay! Lobster Bakes are a 6 hour charter, which include a 2 hour sail to the island, approximately 2 hours on the island for the bake, and a 2 hour return sail at sunset!

For even more intimate elopements, consider the Cutter Owl. With capacity for up to 6 passengers, the Owl is perfect for couples looking for a unique elopement in beautiful Camden Harbor. Each summer couples elope on the Cutter Owl with a Captain to perform the wedding, a photographer, and a couple of friends as witnesses. Sometimes the smallest ceremony can be the most memorable!
Pre-Wedding or Post-Wedding Celebrations!
If you are looking for something for your guests to do ahead of your wedding why not take them out on the Schooner Olad? It's a great way to welcome your guests to the area, and celebrate with close friends and family before the big day! Also great for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties! You can bring your own food and beverages, or work with our staff and we'll help coordinate catering for your sail.
